Highland Care Agency Ltd has a very rigorous recruitment process so as to keep our standards high and to protect the service users. In that regards these are the requirements that we ask from our potential staff before we send or give you work. We also provide mandatory training.
Please bring with you the following documents and items:
- Three passport photographs
- Passport
- Work Permit (if one is needed) Evidence of the right to work in the UK
- Full bank details
- 2 x Proof of Address (two bills e.g. gas, electric, phone, mobile)
- National Insurance card (not just the numbers) or P60 or P45 form
- 65 pounds for PVG Scheme (Disclosure Scotland) or 30 pounds for Existing PVG Member (Cash/ Cheque made payable to Highland Care Agency Ltd).
- 15 pounds for the Highland Care branded uniform.
- 5 pounds – ID badge
- 40 pounds for the training - Moving & Handling + Health & Safety (if one is needed; I would like to advise you that training need to be repeated on a yearly basis).
- Completed HCA Ltd Application Form and Signed Health Check
- Evidence of Immunisation results (Rubella, Hepatitis B, BCG, Chicken Pox, Measles, Mumps, Heaf test and HIV test.)
- Evidence of relevant academic and/or professional qualifications (i.e. NVQ certificate)
- Trade Union Card
- Driving License (if required)
- Health Clearance check
- Latest C.V. relevant to the position applied for.
- Original/Certified registration Certificates, professional qualifications, memberships of proof bodies
- NMC Original Statement of Entry or HPC Equivalent
- NMC Annual Statement of Entry or HPC Equivalent
- Proof of professional indemnity cover
- Signed professional indemnity acknowledgement
- Police check from country of origin – (if you have been in the UK less than 6 months)Your last appraisal from your employer
- Original IELTS Certificate – (if applicable to you)
