Highland Care Agency Ltd was established in 2010. It is managed by a group of nurses whose experience ranges from 5yrs to 44yrs in the general and the mental health field. 

We provide, Nurses, Care Assistants, Support Workers, Domestic Staff, Kitchen Assistants and Entatainment Groups to nursing and residential care homes and local authorities throughout the Lothians. Our care service aims to provide high quality care service to assist individuals in retaining (where possible) independence in the care and residential homes throughout the Lothians. Our aim is to provide a positive contribution to the social and economic wellbeing of the communities we serve to enable them to realise their maximum potential. Our specialist services include: Agency Work, Homecare and Supported living (to be annonced).

Our staff are carefully selected to meet our stringent requirements. We only provide staff who have an enhance disclosure (PVG) check. Our carers have undergone training in care and personal care. Added to this dedicated pool of carers, we also have qualified nurses who can take care of clients who are terminally ill. Although our carers' experiences may be diverse, they all have a desire to work in an area where their compassion and understanding can enhance the quality of life of our clients.

We endeavour to keep the same carers with our clients on an on-going basis, so that clients may benefit from a continuity of companionship, routine and care.
